Born on 29 May 1989 in Kgomoschool, Ga-Matlala, Manaka developed his football career through Tshiamo Sports Academy, SuperSport United’s youth system, Mkhumishe Carnivores, and Phungo All Stars.

He joined Black Leopards in the 2010–11 National First Division, helping the team gain promotion to the Premier Division, where he made his top-flight debut. In 2014, he signed a three-year deal with Platinum Stars, before later spells with Golden Arrows in 2015 and Polokwane City in 2016.
